Clinical indications
This is a glycoprotein antigen expressed by human breast cancer cells. It has no diagnostic value in the strict sense: increased CaA15-3 values are found in neoplastic mammary gland formation and in other tumour forms, although it may be present in some non-cancerous diseases.
